Insomnia
Insomnia can disrupt daily life by causing irritability, exhaustion, tiredness, and difficulty staying focused. This affliction is also believed to be a risk factor for other diseases, including obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease.
Sleep is not simply something the brain "does." It is the result of dozens of systems working together—including the autonomic nervous system, circadian rhythm, sensory processing, brain timing, metabolic health, inflammation, hormone regulation, and the body's ability to shift into a state of safety and restoration.
When one or more of these systems become dysregulated, falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking feeling refreshed can become increasingly difficult.
Chronic, or recurrent, insomnia is a widespread condition affecting nearly 10-15% of the global population and is associated with fatigue, difficulty concentrating, mood changes, reduced cognitive performance, and decreased quality of life. Long-term sleep disruption has also been linked to cardiovascular disease, metabolic dysfunction, immune dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Even acute, or short-lived, insomnia, if left untreated, can develop into chronic insomnia and becomes more challenging to treat.
It is therefore important to learn how to deal with insomnia as soon as symptoms present themselves, and to seek help as early as possible.

I don't believe every person with insomnia needs the same solution.
