About Dr. Laura Standridge
Laura Standridge, D.C., BCN-L is a Doctor of Chiropractic with advanced training in functional neurology, neurofeedback, and developmental neuroscience. Her work spans clinical care, consulting, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration—supporting children and families with complex learning, developmental, and brain-based challenges.

Dr. Standridge’s professional path was shaped early by personal experience. After watching her son struggle with apraxia, dyslexia, dyscalculia, and dysgraphia, she pursued deeper answers beyond traditional models. A qEEG brain map revealed specific patterns of neurological underdevelopment, and targeted neurofeedback protocols led to significant improvements. That experience became the catalyst for expanding—and ultimately re-shaping—her professional focus.

Over the past two decades, Dr. Standridge has completed extensive post-doctoral education in chiropractic functional neurology, combining coursework, mentorship, and clinical application. Early in her career, she spent more than a decade working closely with the president of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, co-managing complex cases and studying neurological assessment, development, and recovery. This long-term mentorship played a formative role in how she evaluates and supports brain-based challenges.

As her work evolved, Dr. Standridge pursued formal neurofeedback training through the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, completing board certification in 2018. She also trained in the Melillo Method, integrating principles of developmental functional neurology with neurofeedback and multisensory approaches for children and adults with learning differences and neurodevelopmental delays. In 2026, after using Interactive Metronome® for over 5 years as a parent, she completed her professional certification so that she can help struggling learners.

Dr. Standridge completed clinical training in high-volume neurofeedback and developmental neurology practices in New York, working with patients drawn from across the United States and internationally. Her experience includes autism spectrum presentations, ADHD, anxiety, learning disabilities, PTSD, brain injury, and complex developmental profiles. In 2018, she opened her own independent neurofeedback practice in northern New Jersey, serving families both locally and remotely.
Today, Dr. Standridge’s work extends beyond a single modality or clinic model. She now focuses on integration, strategy, and collaboration—helping families, clinicians, and educators understand what is missing, why certain interventions succeed or fail, and how to sequence care for meaningful developmental and learning outcomes. She currently serves on the board of MIND Integration Collaborative and as a neurodevelopment consultant, supporting families in diagnostic interpretation, neurodevelopmental planning, and decision-making, delivering evidence-based neurotiming® and neuro-supportive therapy, incorporating Interactive Metronome® and LLLT.
In addition to consulting and education, Dr. Standridge has founded a charity to support families faced with severe learning challenges and developmental delays. Her current and emerging initiatives reflect her belief that the future of effective healthcare lies in thoughtful integration and that today's developmental challenges require collaboration across disciplines.

Dr. Standridge earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia, and completed advanced post-doctoral training in functional neurology and neurofeedback while practicing in New York City and northern New Jersey. She is a clinical educator who brings a unique skillset as a mother of a child with a complex genetic and neurodevelopmental profile who stands out from their cohort. She was born in Florida, raised in New Jersey, and inspired early by her grandmother’s emphasis on movement, nutrition, and resilient living.

A mother of two, Dr. Standridge remains deeply committed to helping modern families navigate complex developmental landscapes with clarity, compassion, and evidence-informed strategy.
